Meet Brisbane, one of the foster kittens fostered by Ellen Richter, a Las Vegas-based foster parent for kittens and cats. Brisbane used to be a stray kitten in bad shape before coming into Ellen’s care. The vulnerable small child was discovered in someone’s yard. Living on the streets had left him malnourished, dehydrated, and dirty. Fortunately, the nice lady who discovered him took him to the shelter for assistance.
He was around a year old when he arrived to the shelter. He was incredibly nice and sociable, despite the fact that he was a stray. He appeared to recognize that he was in capable hands, and he was willing to let personnel touch and assist him. He was transported to his foster home after being examined and cleaned, where he was nursed back to health by his wonderful foster mom Ellen.
Brisbane gradually acclimated to his new surroundings and began to regain his health thanks to Ellen’s care and devotion. He was in excellent health and was improving every day. He was finally off medicines for his upper respiratory infection, but his skin itching required antihistamines.
Brisbane was able to fully recover in 106 days. He goes from being an underweight and hungry cat in poor health to becoming a happy and healthy cat. The sweet little Baby had through so much suffering, but we are relieved to learn that he is doing well and living his best life. He now has a loving, caring home and a mother after everything that has occurred to him in the past. What a beautiful baby.
