For The Past 7 Years, My Cat And Horse Have Been Best Friends; Here Are 7 Photos Of Them Together

I’d love to sleep in every now and then, but my cat Morris insists on going out to meet his closest buddy Champy the horse as soon as the sun comes up. Morris and Champy have been close friends for almost seven years.

Morris was rescued from a shelter, and Champy insisted on being his best friend when I brought him home. Morris eagerly got on his back and took him on rides around the pasture. It’s now part of their morning routine.

Favorite spot for unwinding and wasting time

Morris usually leaps on from a fence post called his “bus stop” by his fans.

If Champy sees Morris waiting at a “bus stop,” he approaches him and invites him to board. Before Morris gets on, they usually exchange greetings. Champy is a kind and welcoming bus.

Snuggle time is an essential at all times.

Champy is attempting to sleep a little longer, but Morris is having none of it.

What a great way to begin the day! At dawn, we will meet at the bus stop.

Morris also enjoys a sunset horseback ride.
