Many individuals do not know how to deal with the uncertainty, thus it is frequent to see families leaving their particular pets in shelters. This narrative serves as an excellent model for all of us.
Zara was just a few months old when she was brought to the Fix’Em facility in Charleston, West Virginia, for sterilization surgery. The vet observed some breathing issues and determined she needed to visit a specialist first.
Zara was born with an asymmetric brain and organs on the left side of her face that never developed.
They sought assistance from the Itty Bitty Kitty Committee (IBKC), a local rescue organization in Charleston. Zara was in bad health since her previous owner was unable to provide her with the medical attention she required to flourish.
He also didn’t want to be in charge of her particular care because this kitty wasn’t just any regular pet. The rescue team greeted her with open arms. They wanted to do everything they could to improve their situation.
Zara was transported to a nearby veterinarian for an examination. It was rapidly recognized that he required an MRI for a thorough diagnosis and potential therapy. Everyone from the vet’s office came to see the unique feline and give him exactly what he wanted: hugs and more hugs.
The kitten had to be sent to a special clinic outside of Virginia for proper examination.
His health is excellent, and he just requires minor attention to live happily ever after.
Two IBKC volunteers immediately took the decision to accompany Zara to the Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center in the hopes of determining her medical status. They received responses for the adorable feline after a few days.
Zara has vision and can only breathe correctly on her right side. She doesn’t have a left nasal channel, and you can’t give her one. His left eye never developed. Your brain is asymmetrical, but it is safe. There is no need for surgery.
This pet’s unusual ailment is thought to be congenital. Zara is who she is, according to the vet, and she’s gorgeous, quiet, and completely self-assured. Most adopted cats hide, but she came to her foster home eager to take up all the places.
Zara, like any other cat, enjoys cuddling with people or other kittens. She never complains when her prescriptions are given to her and is a joy to have around in her foster home.
Despite her medical issues, Zara has a lovely personality and a strong desire to be loved. Don’t be deceived by this kitten’s looks. His health is excellent, and veterinarians have been astounded by the amount of development he has made despite certain limits.
Zara’s foster parents are aware that finding a home for her will be difficult owing to the biases of certain individuals. However, it is so loving and outstanding that they have little doubt that the right person would be attracted when the time comes.
