This Hungry Cow Cat Can’t Be Stopped By The Locks On The Fridge And Cabinets

Keith the Cow Cat may be categorized as a’megachonker’ on a scale of ‘chonky boi’ to ‘oh, lawd, he comming.’ Being fat, however, does not deter this charming young man.

Keith is a contented cat on a veterinarian diet who adores his family, despite the fact that his mother had to lock the refrigerator and cabinets in his Bristol, England home.

Sara Matthews, Keith’s mother, didn’t have a choice. This cunning young man adores eating and possesses a mind as broad as his girth.

Sara told The Scottish Sun that the family has placed various locks to all of the food cupboards because “he will find a way in regardless of whether it’s a round knob handle or a pulley.”

“I’ve got to store all of his rations in plastic tubs with snap-on lids now.” To slow him down, we tried puzzle feeders, but he merely tipped them over.”

Keith, believe it or not, was underweight at the time of his rescue and required a special diet to help him overcome gastrointestinal issues. However, with the assistance in getting his stomach in order, he developed a ravenous hunger, resulting in significant weight growth and the theft of other felines’ food. Sara knew Keith had stomach problems when she adopted him as a 10th birthday present for Charlie, but she had no idea he’d also be serving her a mystery.

“He would eat anything, even strange stuff like veggies and pizza crusts by digging into our bins and our neighbors’ garbage,” she added.

Keith has grown from 11 pounds to 24 pounds in the last seven years, despite her efforts to limit his feeding and the use of every veterinarian test available. Sara has spent over £2000 ($2,700) attempting to discover out what makes this child so hungry!

Keith had to take drugs as a kitten since he had difficulties with his eyes and ears. Sara had special food manufactured for him for a while since he had urinary difficulties as well, explaining, “The regular food for that is so heavy in calories I couldn’t trust him eating it.”

Keith ate this mix for three years at a cost of about a hundred dollars every bag. “We paid £2,500 (US$3459.96) for blood tests for Cushing’s illness, diabetes, and more last year,” Sara recalled, “but they all came back negative.”

“However, he’s a really happy cat.” I don’t believe he considers his weight to be a problem. He leads a rather ordinary cat existence. Keith is a lot more active than the other two cats in my house.”

Keith, a dashing tuxedo cat, considers it necessary to appear his best, and he adores donning bowties. His stances are excellent, and his collection is huge. It’s no surprise he’s become a social media star!
