Sarah Kelly, the founder of Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue in North Carolina, received a little tuxedo kitten that had been found wandering alone on the streets. Someone heard her meowing and found the little ball of fur near an air conditioning unit outside a building, according to reports.
It rained heavily that day, and the kitten wept uncontrollably, missing her mother, but there were no other cats in the area. The small cat was boisterous and naughty from the start, and she simply wanted her rescuers’ attention and affection.
“Her cries were instrumental in saving her life. She brought it to us and didn’t stop meowing until we got it. She was never bashful, but she was a diva when it came to receiving attention.
“She’d drink from her bottle and then squirm around on her back to have her tummy stroked.”
Sarah kept an eye on the kitty while she was in her enclosure and walking around the premises, as she loved having a careful look at everything around her, thinking that some companionship would be beneficial.
Sarah introduced her to a litter of somewhat smaller kittens that looked just like her after she was medically healthy.
They struck it up immediately away, and Peep naturally assumed the position of big sister, leading her new siblings, who were delighted to be by her side.
She was a charming and sonorous kitten that was always meowing and purring. She soon won the hearts of a family when she was old and healthy enough to find her forever home, and they brought her home to offer her a loving permanent home.
Sarah expressed her joy and excitement by saying:
It’s impossible to imagine a more perfect family! They’ll treat her like a princess for the rest of her nine life! Peep will have a fuzzy brother named Cory, and she will live a life filled with cuddles.”
