Two kittens that had been abandoned by their mother in Alexandria, Canada, needed assistance. The cats were posted on social media in hopes that someone with compassion would adopt them.
Mellissa spotted the post at the time and contacted the owners of the kittens right away. Mellissa is the creator of the cat rescue organization Tiny but Mighty Kitten Rescue, which is situated in Ontario, Canada.
Four weeks had passed since their mother had abandoned the infants. She revealed:
“I deduced from the picture that I needed to save them. That morning, I traveled to Alexandria to take up these infants.
The kittens were filthy and ravenous when they were picked up, but as soon as they got to their new house, they ate like crazy and snuggled up to sleep soundly on their new bed.
The kittens, called Ace (black and white) and Indie (grey), were eager to explore the area after receiving a well-deserved wash.
Mellissa saw a unique connection between the two infants.
They couldn’t be separated, and as time went on, their appetite increased to the point that they started demanding food every two hours or so.
