The North Carolina-based Murphy’s Law Animal Rescue received a call about a little, cream-colored kitten that was in desperate need of assistance. The kitten was in terrible shape and was unable to open his eyes since a scab had totally covered them.
The cat needed assistance to eat since it was so underweight. He was fed all day long using a syringe by the rescue center’s founder, Sarah Kelly, and her staff, who also gave him supportive care, medicine, hydration, and care.
“How could we refuse when they asked if we could assist this “discovered ill kitten”? We came together to support him and offered him the best medical attention we could.”
The kitten, named Meep, was a fighter when given medicine and medical attention. Despite his tiny, he was incredibly strong, and the littlest things made him joyful.
“We exerted every effort to assist this youngster. We gave him the name “Meep” because when we first saw his adorable yet melancholy face, that was the first sound that sprang to mind.
“He didn’t have enough energy because his double eye infection and flea infestation greatly exhausted him, but he continued to get better and began to put on weight. We are extremely happy that he was able to be saved because of our quick action.”
The cute kitten was ecstatic to have a constant playmate. He replied to her purrs when Sarah was close by as she joyfully rubbed her paws on a blanket.
Meep was finally able to breathe normally and her eyes started to become significantly better after a week. The little cat was prepared to take over the world.
How Meep changed after a week in foster care. She is putting some flesh on her bones and gaining weight. He is beginning to regain his vigor, and Meep has been treating us to some of his amazing purrs.
